Connecting BSNL Broadband Dial-up modem

Make all the connections as directed by the BSNL.

Check whether your IP address is 192.168.1.2 or not? If not set it manually!

Now open Internet Explorer or Firefox browser, goto http://192.168.1.1.
give username:admin and password:admin.
Now, click on advanced setup, on the left-side menu.
Now, click on top edit button.
click next.
now select bridging.click next.
click next.
press save.
now press save or reboot.

Now wait for 2 minutes.

Now, in windows xp

Open the Start menu and choose Settings, then Control Panel. Now click on "Network connections" and then click on "New connection wizard".
click next.
select "connect to internet". click next.
select "setup my connection manually". click next.
select "connect using a broadband that requires username and password". click next.
give the ISP name BSNL. click next.
Give username and password, provided by BSNL. click next.
now select "create a desktop shortcut". click finish.

Now on the desktop double-click BSNL, and press connect.
Thats it, your broadband connected and you should see internet is working.
