How to install xampp in windows xp

open the link http://sourceforge.net/projects/xampp/files/XAMPP%20Windows/xampp-win32-1.7.1-installer.exe/download in browser. with the above link you will be downloading the necessary xampp exe file in your computer.

double-click or press enter the xampp exe file.

when you double-click or enter, you'll get a option to choose language.


then you will get a screen like this:


By clicking next, you will get


choose the path( better choose the drive in which the operating system is not installed!), click next.

select those services, which you want to run at startup. then click next!

you see this installation process screen:

now click finish. Once you click finish you will get the following screen


click yes, and you'll get the control panel of xampp.





now you start the apache server and mysql.


to check, whether they are working correctly or not!

Open the browser, enter the url http://localhost/

you'll see a webpage displaying xampp, select language, then you'll see the feathers of the xampp, hence you can confirm it is working.

now enter the url http://localhost/phpmyadmin

here you can configure databases and create tables.
